Getting Started
- Once you get to the venue, make sure you register at the welcome desk**.**
- Once you’ve registered, make sure you wear your wristband at all times.
- Please respect the venue! This is everyone’s space for the weekend, so make sure you take care of it.
Project Guidelines
- Building New Projects: You are encouraged to build new projects pushing the boundaries of Emerging Tech. Read about the Hackathon Bounties before arriving at the event to get a head start.
- Building On a Past Project: If you choose to extend a past project, you MUST implement significant changes that satisfy the Bounty you’re hacking for to be eligible for the prize. The project will be judged based on what was built during the hackathon.
- Team Size: You can either hack solo or as part of a team. It is advised that a team consist of no more than 6 people*.* If you wish to hack with more people, please get in touch with the organisers.
- Prizes: Judges or sponsors reserve the right to alter prizes according to the quality of submissions. Participants will be made aware of such changes if it is relevant to them.
Code of Conduct
At Encode Club, we seek to uphold an inclusive and welcoming environment for everyone. All participants, including organisers, are expected to treat each other with respect. Please also respect the venue and facilities.
Any form of harassment will not be tolerated.
Harassment includes but is not limited to:
- Offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, physical or mental ability, age, socioeconomic status, ethnicity, physical appearance, race, or religion.
- Any form of disruptive hacks or inappropriate online activity.
- Display of sexual images in public spaces.
- Deliberate intimidation or stalking.
- Inappropriate physical contact.
