Encode Club was founded by Anthony and Damir, who met while working in venture capital in 2018. Anthony had recently graduated from Oxford, and Damir had just exited his startup to a large German corporation. They recognised that in rapidly evolving tech fields like Web3 and AI, high-quality education and developer access was scarce. Thus, Encode Club was created to fill this gap and collaborate with innovative startups and developers in shaping the future of Emerging Tech.
Initially bootstrapped, Encode raised a major fundraising round after two years, as reported by TechCrunch (link here), which marked the beginning of a phase of significant growth and expansion. Today, nearly five years since its founding, Encode Club stands out as a leading educator in Web3 and is rapidly building its reputation in AI, following a series of high-profile events.

In AI, Encode aspires to achieve a similar scale to its work in Web3. We also increasingly employ this new technology directly in our processes and operations.
Our team is global, with clusters in London, Zagreb, and Munich. Our base in London meets 3 days a week in the office, but we’re very interconnected. We even have a dedicated hour every Friday where we play games and get to know each other better!
